Hot on the heels of a series of workshops from July through August, leading up to the show, LMA and international guest artists conducted workshops including: work with customized apps, electroluminescent wire, naturalist collages, sound walks and AR + QR code. All of these workshops coincided with the final pieces the artists would be presenting for the exhibition, in order to give the public a opportunity to work with the same materials, learn about the technology, or to hear and experience more background about the finished art.
After opening introductory remarks by LMA Administator/residency artist, Laura Lee Coles, the audience were invited to enjoy residency artist Phil Thomson's original audio composition, synat2, view and participate in interactive works scattered throughout the main floor of the mansion, before being guided through the outdoor works scattered throughout the extensive grounds of Aberthau.
